OVERVIEW:

The FEMA Nonprofit Grant writing session will provide an overview of the FEMA Homeland Security Nonprofit Grant program. Churches are eligible to receive up to $200,000 in grant funds for security equipment.

The session is open to all churches who a looking for additional funding for security/safety equipment. Texas Church Security Coalition Member Churches have received over $1.5 million dollars in FEMA grant funds. We will also discuss recent changes to FEMA requirements and FEMA funding.

GOALS:

The session will address each of the different components of the grant and share insights and strategies.

  • Risk Assessment

  • Investment Justification

  • Budget

PRESENTER:

David Cerqua is the President of the Texas Church Security Coalition and the Special Projects Manager for Cross Brand Cowboy Church and has successfully written and implemented 2 grants for Cross Brand Cowboy Church. David has also helped several other local churches write and win this grant
