The Texas Church Security Coalition is a Texas Nonprofit Corporation with Unpaid, Volunteer, Corporate Officers and a Board of Directors.
Our Officers and Board represent a cross-section of church denominations & sizes.

Our History
The Texas Church Security Coalition started as the East Texas Church Security Coalition in 2015 when, as Security Director for Green Acres Baptist Church, Mike Collins saw a need to help smaller churches navigate the complexities of establishing a church safety team.
The tremendous response from churches across the state showed us the need for a more formal structure, so in 2023 we converted to The Texas Church Security Coalition, a Member-Based Texas Nonprofit Corporation.

Our Mission
The Texas Church Security Coalition provides churches and houses of worship with the specialized education, information, training, and tools needed to develop, implement, and maintain safety, security, and medical teams to address the ever-growing threat against our churches and houses of worship.
