Tim Miller President & Founder
Tim Miller is a 30-year law enforcement and military professional. As a Secret Service Special agent assigned to the Washington Field Office, Tim coordinated all aspects of security for the President, Vice-President, and foreign heads of state on a regular basis. His extensive background includes leadership roles in Homeland Security, law enforcement and the Marine Corps.
Geoff Rice Director of Corporate and Executive Security
Geoff Rice has over 25 years of local and federal law enforcement experience, including 3 years as a police officer and 22 years as a federal agent. With the U.S. Secret Service, Geoff specialized in investigating counterfeiting and complex financial crimes and served on the Presidential Protective Division and the Counter Assault Team within the Special Operations Division. Later, at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Geoff served as a Special Response Team (SRT) assaulter and sniper, eventually becoming the Team Commander for the Los Angeles-based SRT. Geoff has also worked for the ExxonMobil Corporation as a Global Security Advisor responsible for facility security assessments and executive protection for the Chairman of ExxonMobil. Geoff has extensive expertise in protective operations and leading complex tactical scenarios.
Dave Young Director of Threat Advisory Training and Consulting
Dave Young has over 30 years of local and federal law enforcement experience, including 8 years as a police officer and 22 years as an FBI Agent. With the FBI, Dave investigated hate crimes, law enforcement misconduct, counter-terrorism intelligence, and violent crimes. This also included 15 years working in conjunction with the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Units as the primary coordinator on a variety of violent
crime cases and BAU initiatives. It further involved being the Threat Management Coordinator for the FBI Chicago Field Office, investigating violent threats and presenting to schools, corporate working groups, and houses of worship on pre-attack behaviors that may be indicative of violent intent. It also includes 17 years of FBI SWAT experience.
Liberty University Chief Gerald Irwin
Gerald Irwin began his law enforcement career in 1994 with the Coral Springs Police Department in Florida.
Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of roles including Patrol Officer, SWAT member, Detective, and Commander of specialized units such as VICE, Intelligence, and Narcotics. Rising through the ranks, he became Captain in 2018, overseeing Road Patrol, Traffic, and later Community Services. In 2023, Gerald retired from Coral Springs PD and joined Liberty University Police Department as Deputy Chief. On January 6, 2025, he was appointed Chief of Police. Gerald holds a B.A. in Criminology from the University of South Florida and an M.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session #283) and the Senior Management Institute for Police (Session #80). He serves on the Virginia FBI National Academy Associates Executive Board and the Liberty University Command College Advisory Board.
