OVERVIEW:

Ladies' Night Out will be an interactive, female-focused, informational forum focusing on the unique gifts and abilities women bring to a Church Safety Team. We will discuss, review and explore ways to expand the integral role women have on our safety teams.

GOALS - TAKEAWAYS:

• How to recruit women for the safety team.

• Unique training requirements and opportunities for women on the safety Team.

• Ways to re-envision aspects of Church Safety from a female perspective.

PRESENTERS

KELLEY SMITH:

• Kelley currently serves on the Green Acres Baptist Church Safety Team. She is a licensed PPO with extensive experience working private security for high profile individuals and events. Kelley is also a Nurse Practitioner, which brings a unique blend of security and medical experience.

ANNETTE ADAMS:

• Annette serves on the Grace Baptist Safety Team in Kilgore, living out the motto, "We Serve Others" through vigilant security and support. As the only lady on the Grace team, she brings a unique and valued perspective to their mission. A regular trainee at Vault Arms and a frequent attendee of Texas Church Security Coalition classes, she combines expert level training with a true servant's heart. 

Q&A SESSION:

While the majority of this event will be “ladies only”, there will be a Q&A session at the end of the event that men are invited to attend. This will give the group to ask questions and discuss how best to build a strong, cohesive, diverse team that respects everyone’s unique talents and gifts.
