OVERVIEW

Special events represent a unique safety challenge. We will discuss developing a risk profile for the event based on the speaker and the nature of the topic. We will address developing an “arrival /departure” plan, determining the security perimeters, and, if needed, extending the outer perimeter and coordinating with local law enforcement. With Christmas and related Holiday events coming this is an important and timely topic

GOALS:

• How to identify and develop a risk profile for special events

• Understand each step in the planning process

• How to interoperate with Local Law Enforcement and other private security

• How to build, communicate, coordinate and execute a Special Event Plan

PRESENTERS:

Craig Webb and Mike Collins will jointly present this training session. Both have been part of the Green Acres Baptist Church Safety Team of over 10 years. During that time they have successfully managed and executed multiple. large scale events. From “high-profile” individual speaker who traveled with their own personal protection team to large-crowd events like concerts, 4th of July and Christmas Celebrations
