OVERVIEW:

While we understand that each church has their own, individual Medical Policies, we also know that the Church Safety Teams will be called on in a medical emergency. While most safety teams have added trained medical volunteers to their team, but do they have the basic medical tools respond? This course will review the most critical items for an emergency medical bag, review the design and content of several churches medical bags and assist you in designing a medical bag for your church.

GOALS:

• Understand the equipment requirements to address the most likely medical scenarios.

  • Heart Attack - Stroke - Diabetic Reaction - Seizure

• Complete a medical equipment list and prioritize items
